- The Indian Railways in its Northern Zone, known as North Central Railway headquartered at Allahabad has appointed Mr. M C Chauhan as the new General Manager.
- Ruchi Ghanashyam, a Senior diplomat is given appointment as the Secretary (West) in the MEA, popularly known as Ministry of External Affairs.
- All India Football Federation (AIFF) appointed Portugals Luis Norton De Matos as the head coach for Football team for India U- 17 on March 1, 2017, for FIFA U-17 World cup 2017.
